Camera identification, with a confidence score

Point the camera at the car and SeeCar returns the full picture: make, model, years, body style, colour, fuel type and approximate production years. Every result carries a confidence score. When the app is not certain, it shows the other candidates so you can judge for yourself.

  • One scan returns eight fields: make, model, years, body style, colour, fuel type, production year and the confidence score.
  • When it is unsure, SeeCar lists the runners-up for you to compare, rather than returning a single answer.
  • Already have a photo on your phone? Pick it from your library — no need to take a new one.
  • Every scan is saved with its thumbnail, timestamp and confidence score.

The figures above are taken from screenshots of the SeeCar app. They are estimates for reference only, not sale prices, and may differ from what a dealer quotes. For the Fiat 500 the app shows a single combined range rather than separating new from used.

As well as scanning, SeeCar ships with a catalogue of more than 6,500 cars. Search by make or by model name and open any car for full details.

Security and privacy

This page is static and sits under the same privacy policy as the app, so it does not load any resource from anywhere else.

  • This page calls no external resources: no CDN, no webfont, no analytics, no third-party script. Every image and all the CSS live in the page itself.
  • The screenshots on this page come from the app build, not from a user's device.
  • Photos you capture in the app are sent to Gulagi's recognition service to be processed, and are not retained on the server long-term.
  • Scan history and favourites are stored on your device; you can delete them inside the app, and uninstalling removes all local data.
